Can I Still Eat Junk Food And Lose Weight?

Short answer: YES

Long answer: You can get away with eating Whopper’s or Big Mac’s everyday.

WITH THE FOLLOWING DISCLAIMER:
*YOU’VE GOT TO STRICTLY EAT ONE MEAL A DAY and FAST THE REST OF THE DAY*
(INTERMITTENT FASTING – HARDCORE)

ONE MEAL – NO SNACKS, CHEATING or LATE NIGHT FEASTING.

In this short article I will explain exactly how and what you need to do.
You need to limit the volume of food you eat.

One meal a day, then water, black coffee or tea with no sugar or cream for the rest of the day.
This is known as intermittent fasting.

What is intermittent fasting?

Boiled down:

Time restricted eating. Restrict yourself to a 4 to 8 hour feeding window.
The rest of the time, you fast.
It’s as simple as that.

You will increase you’re productivity, lose weight, feel better and improve your health.

All while eating American Junk Food.

Is this ideal?
No, not necessarily. Ideal would be a CLEAN DIET with intermittent fasting.

But you asked me if it was POSSIBLE.

ABSOLUTELY.

I would recommend picking the highest protein, lowest fat and card junk food.

For example, a triple whopper or big mac over pancakes , french fries or chicken nuggets.

The pancakes are pure sugar and carbs with no protein. The french fries are pure fat, salt and carbs with no real nutritional value.

The different approaches to Intermittent Fasting you can take:

1) Fast In the Morning; Eat at Noon; Fast Rest of the Day

You fast after waking up. You drink your coffee black, no sugar , cream or sweeteners.
At noon you eat your one meal of the day. Eat as much as you can, but only in one period of feeding.
You then fast for the rest of the day, eating and drinking nothing with any calories in it.

2)Eat Upon Waking, Fast Rest of the Day

You eat immediately after waking up. For the rest of your day, you stay fasted. You eat as much as you can in that one single meal.

The rest of the day is spent fasted. You may go into a slight food coma after splurging on your one big meal. For the majority of the day, you will have great cognition, great energy and good focus.
Worth the trade-off? ABSOLUTELY!

3)How to Keep your Appetite Under Control
To keep your appetite under control, you can take certain stimulants.
Coffee and caffeine pills will suppress your appetite. The coffee must have no cream or sugar.

In addition , the prescription drug modafinil and its legally available cousin adrafinil (Legal in the USA, varies in other countries) highly reduce appetite.

Avoid cardio. Cardio makes me hungry and stimulates my appetite like nothing else.

4)When to Lift Weights
The best time to lift weights while doing this intermittent fasting, junk food diet is within 1 to 2 hours after eating. When you lift weights varies based upon your work schedule.

I do not recommend lifting on an empty stomach if your last meal was more then 6 hours out.

You will feel more fatigued and hungry, this will reduce your focus and workout energy.
What can you expect if you follow this program for a month?
You can expect to lose 1 to 2 pounds per week.

5)Good Junk Food Choices

You must stick to the highest protein junk food. Eating lays potato chips and soda is not conducive to building muscle and losing fat.

I’ll list food from every restaurant

“Good” Junk Food Choices:
Mcdonalds : McChickens, McDoubles, Chicken Nuggets, Big Mac (NO SAUCE)

Burger King: Whopper, Whopper Jr, Bacon Cheeseburger (NO SAUCE)

Arbys: Roast Beef Classic, Meat Mountain, Gyros,

Subway: Chicken Bacon Ranch (Double Meat, Steak (Double Meat)

Taco Bell: Beefy Fritos Burrito, Grilled Breakfast Burrito, Sausage Flatbread Quesadilla

Wendy’s: Dave’s Triple, Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger (JBC), Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe, Baconator, Chicken GO Wrap, Grilled, Chili Large

Chick-Fil-A: Chicken Strips, Chicken Sandwich

Good Times: Double Burger

6) Switch to Meal Prep & Healthy Foods

I am not a junk food addict. Real talk – I hate how junk food makes me feel mentally.

I get sluggish after I eat most junk food. I don’t do my best thinking when I’m brain fogged/ in a food coma.

I forgot to pack lunch this morning and am typing this after eating a burger and chicken sandwich from a fast food joint.

I had crystal clear clarity an hour ago and now my head is in a damn fog. I am in the middle of a food coma as I type this out.

This happens to me  with certain processed/junk foods.

I can’t even eat a McDouble without getting terrible brain fog for next five hours.

I assume its my body reacting to one of the numerous ingredients they put in the food.
That’s why I always recommend you just make the switch to healthy foods you prepare yourself.

Many people are addicted to junk food.

They don’t realize that the food you put into your body has a drastic effect on how you feel.

Meal prepping is easy and convenient – yes it takes a bit of work, time and  energy. With that said, foods you prepare yourself are healthier, cheaper and better for you.

More importantly, you can figure out what foods cause you brain fog and then only consume foods that keep you mentally sharp.

(Most fast food causes mental brain fog, lethargy and fatigue)

7) Biggest Benefit of Intermittent Fasting (With Junk Food)

The biggest BENEFIT of this once a day fast food habit is that it allows you to indulge in junk food while still having good mental clarity for the rest of the day.

You get to have your cake and eat it to.

I can confidently state that if I was eating junk food for 4-5 meals a day I would get nothing done.
I’d be too fatigued and brain fogged to.

CLARITY and FOCUS are paramount when it comes to success in life.

As I type this, 20 minutes after a meal I am lethargic, fatigued and in a food coma.
However, I know that after an hour or two I’ll have my mental clarity

Yes, it is possible to lose weight eating junk food. It requires discipline and sacrificing two meals a day.
Counting calories is mandatory as well if you choose stuff like soda, sugary milkshakes , potato chips, etc.
Calories > Health of Food
Intermittent Fasting/Restricted Eating > Standard American 24/7 Feeding Routine
(When it comes to weight loss and general health)

My firm recommendation is to try eating like this for a month.

It may be hard at first, training yourself to ignore your bodies cravings for food and your stomachs grumblings.

The benefits in productivity and weight loss make it totally worth it.
